These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Speech into Text website at speechintotext.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Speech into Text is a free, browser-based tool that converts speech into written text and provides an on-screen keyboard for typing. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your place of residence to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create, store, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or infringes the rights of others;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its servers, or its networks;

4. Accuracy and no warranty

Speech recognition depends on factors such as your microphone, accent, speaking speed, background noise, browser, and internet connection. The text produced may contain errors. Please review and correct your text before relying on it for important purposes.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the text you dictate or type. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the rights needed to use or share it.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its design, layout, logos, software, and written content, belongs to Speech into Text or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Service for your personal or business purposes, but you may not copy or reproduce our site content for resale or redistribution without written permission.

7. Third-party services and links

The Service links to and integrates with third-party services, including Google Translate, YouTube, Google Search, Twitter (X), Facebook, and WhatsApp. These services are not controlled by us, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Speech into Text will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
